-Exhibition- children’s book artist

Hello, it has been cold recently. I don’t have a heater, so I have been very cold in my house.

I went to a solo exhibition for the first time on November 11^th. This is the exhibition of original drawings by children’s book artist Koichiro Kashima.

Koichiro Kashima is from Osaka. He works as a children’s book artist, illustrator and artist in Kyoto. He published two children’s books from Spain today.

There were a lot of pretty and warm feeling pictures in the exhibition. I was excited to see these pictures.

Also, there were his desk and tools were on display at the exhibition. His desk, chair and tools were antique. I was surprised to hear the desk was made 100years ago.

Koichiro Kashima was there, so I could talk with him a little. He taught me the story of pictures.

One of them was a story inspirated by Noa’s ark.

I was able to see the scene that he was drawing a picture of with colored pencils. He drew a picture very quickly of his character playing music. I was so happy to see the scene!

I could feel the artist’s thoughts and see his techniques for the first time at one of his exhibitions. I want to go not only his exhibition but also others as well.
